HP LaserJet Pro M15w Wireless Monochrome. Best Saving: HP LaserJet Pro M15w Wireless Monochrome ![]() All in all if you don't mind little manual labor and you meet expectations, you'll do great here. Most people working here are incredibly friendly, some take some warming up to however especially being a new guy. Or have been told something wrong which YOU will be blamed for. Whether from management or just a simple shift change, your probably not getting told something. But when the work is virtually non stop you can barely go to the bathroom, let alone eat. The excuse and justification for this is equally pathetic "you are allowed to eat at your machine". Of all the places I have worked there was always 30 minute breaks. This is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be changed. You only get one 15 minute break here for 8 hour shifts (12 hour shifts get 2 15's, press dept often gets none as the presses cannot stop). This work is definitely not difficult, however it is physically repetitive and extremely dull as well as almost non stop. When you first start out here chances are you'll be a helper and spend most of your time on the end of a machine loading mail trays, mail skids or palletainers (big boxes). So I've been working at Nahan for some time now and I feel I can give a good and fair review. Nahan has made genuine efforts to remain profitable and these should be lauded however, internal practices such as giving sales a great degree - more. Advancement opportunities are quite limited unless you are in favor with decision-makers, pay raises have disappeared, and employees are currently being encouraged to take time off. Relationships with co-workers are very warm and friendly the company values are quite positive and welcoming - but the devil is in the details of the actual work that's done here and I would suggest that anyone who is interested in employment at Nahan Printing come equipped with a thick skin, a high BS tolerance, and a work ethic that is not predicated on requiring pay that is commensurate with one's capabilities. Non-salaried office positions afford modest pay salaried positions pay disproportionately low given that the employees in those positions are heavily overworked and expected to answer on-call phones 24/7. What I learned from working here was that mismanagement and poor communication can be propped up by the hard work of enthusiastic overachievers (who are often young and childless) who undervalue their time and skills. This includes calling pretty much anyone outside of their normal working hours at any time of the day or night. A typical day at work involves being actively engaged in fulfilling responsibilities that would typically be assigned to employees in designated positions in other departments but - through no fault of one's own - employees will be expected to "take the initiative" in order to meet the demands of a production environment.
